Ever since I started my post graduation, bread has became an integral part of my life… being an hosteler that too in a convent hostel my breakfast, lunch and dinner consist of bread some of these days. My bread diet is well known among my friends they don’t even have to ask me about the content of lunch box these days.
Merry Christmas everyone 🙂 🙂
This Christmas is very special to me,well Christmas is always special but this one is extra special….
I got engaged on this Christmas
Payasam is my all time favorite, my cooking escapade started from my love for payasam. When I first started cooking payasam used to be a daily member on our afternoon tea table, it reached to a point that my sister threatened to kill me if I make payasam anymore. My mom is an expert in payasam, she have her own tips and tricks with it, so it is handed down to me when I started my adventure.
This is my first experiment with china grass, and it turned out good 🙂
When I saw my roomie buying china grass for her mom I was curious and couldn’t help but grab one for myself. A hunt for the recipes gave a wide range of lists varying from very simple vanilla pudding to complex pudding that I can’t even understand. So I decided to stick with a simple recipe recipe but add a flavoring of my idea. My family loves cashews, cashews and raisins are two things that are always stocked at our home, so naturally the first flavor my mind went to is a cashew nut flavor…
I love cakes but was too lazy to make them because of the wait,so I was surprised and happy when I came across my first microwave recipe, getting a cake fixed in less than 1 minute seem like an impossible idea at first and that too in a cup is an added bonus. My first microwave cakes were, of course, chocolate ones, my sister love chocolate cakes esp self saucing type.(Note:- my attempt for self saucing always ended up like molten lava ones with a lot of syrup inside.)
Paneer is my mom’s all time favorite and my sister’s worst enemy…. I like to cook using paneer even though am not a big fan of paneer either…
When ever I decide to cook something with paneer my mom’s face lit up like a kid with a candy and my sis became the grumpy kid… So everytime I make paneer for dinner we have to make one other dish as well for the grumpy kid…
Banana…banana..banana… I love bananas…. and dishes made of banana..
Another thing I happen to love is cakes 🙂 I love to try out different varieties of cakes… So I wanted to try out an healthy variety of cake with banana..
